What to recycle in our smartbins?

You can recycle all of your small electronics in our e-waste smartbins. Deposit your cell phones, tablets, cameras, chargers, headphones, ink cartridges and more than 100 other types of small e-waste into the bin, and we will make sure it gets disposed of responsibly.

What happens to your small electronics?

Recycle your small electronics in our smartbin.
We track your contributions to the environment with our sensors installed inside of the bin.
Our logistics team will securely empty the smartbin.
Your e-waste is either refurbished or recycled (by RQO approved recyclers).

The opening of the smartbin is 11″ x 4″. If you wish to recycle a larger device, please find an EPRA-Québec authorized drop-off point.

Lightbulbs, CDs, DVDs, VHS and audio cassettes are not accepted. To find out what to do with them, visit cavaouwebapp.recyc-quebec.gouv.qc.ca.

Where can I recycle my small electronics?

Our network is composed of over 270 e-waste smartbins across Quebec and Ontario. They are found in accessible places, such as malls, schools, office buildings, grocery stores and more!
